Perchance to Dream
If Steve Howe and the other dinosaurs that make up Yes are still doing it, I think/hope the boys still have several gallons left in the tank.

MCM
QUOTE (LeaveMyThingAlone @ Jul 6 2011, 09:47 PM) QUOTE (MCM @ Jul 6 2011, 09:12 PM) QUOTE (Oracle @ Jul 6 2011, 08:07 PM) I will continue to hold that they will play '2112' in its entirety one last time before calling it quits. I'd love to see them in smaller venues, but not as much money in that and the smaller venues wont allow the screens, lights, etc that they (and we) have become accustomed to having in one of their shows. I'm sure that the three of them on the stage without all the fuss would be fine for a lot of us, me included, but I just don't think they would want to go out like that. The thing is they played a lot of 6,000 seat type venues on this go around and were still able to sell them out AND include the lights, pyros, videos, etc we're all accustomed too. Point being, I think they would do quite well playing a tour exclusively these kinds of venues AND be able to keep the quality level show they always have Correct, some of the venues are smaller than I thought. Are they actually smaller or is that just how the set up works out with the stage and all the equipment. I thought that most of the shows this time around were 10k. Out of the numbers that have been released so far 4 of the shows were under 7000. I did not realize that Gibson in LA was that small, less than 6k. Is it really that small or were the ticket numbers limited because of the stage set up?
01GT Eibach
My prediction: No CA tour. The TM tour has been significant and included tracks from CA. I think everyone is just ASSUMING that there has to be a tour with CA. I think they get the album out and go on vacation for a year. THEN ... they release some huge box set of remasters, etc. that is coincided with a "farewell R40" tour that includes only Tom Sawyer and Limelight from MP in the set. And they include "Finding My Way" and "In The End" in their encores on that tour.

Gonna add Subdivisions to my setlist prediction above. It was not played on only 2 tours out of 13 since its release. Also gonna add Bravado because of how much Ged likes the song. D3strukt
f**k Bravado. The Pass is the one that needs to be brought back. I can't stand Bravado, and don't understand why it gets praise. It is so boring.

Rushchick10
As far as I am concerned, as long as they are still standing upright on their own and still able to play, I'll spend my hard-earned greenbacks to make sure my son and I get to see them as often as humanly possible. BUT, the cynic in me will ALWAYS be present at the last show of every tour they do from here on out...I want to say I saw them the LAST time they played live. I can't stand Bravado, and don't understand why it gets praise. It is so boring. Well, Bravado live is better than the studio version imho. Having said that, I prefer The Pass much more. It's my favorite slower-paced song of theirs and probably their best tune from that album up to now.
01GT Eibach
QUOTE (Tommy Sawyer @ Jul 7 2011, 10:17 PM) But even if they haven't referenced to a CA tour, it just makes sense. Touring is THE BEST way to make money as a musician these days. That is true, but you can't come back to the well every year. After this huge tour, people honestly expect them to tour Clockwork Angels, and THEN do a large-scale R40 tour?? No way ... you're thinking only like a Rush fan. I think a large-scale R40 tour that may be billed as a farewell tour will happen ... but no CA tour. Edited July 8, 2011 by 01GT Eibach
