A lot of people see them as a "dadrock" band. Understandable, but they're still making new music and striving to stay modern. I'm going with option 8 here. Probably gonna get a lot of hate, but it's true. As energetic as many of their performances are, they've been at it for a long time. It's nothing new that they haven't played before (save new material). How often on tours now do they play new material? Most people who go to concerts of older artists want to hear old songs because those are the "good" ones. Still, I'm happy that they're still touring and making new music; and when they call it quits, I'll be happy that they've given us so much in the past 30 odd years.

They are old men who are still playing phenomenal rock music

It's what it is, you can't have the 70's, 80's or any other era back. Learn to live in the moment while being midful of what came before and what is to come.

We should be grateful for what we have had, what we are getting and whatever else they can provide.

Age is not a number, it is an attitude

Peace out

Yeah, they won't write like they did in the 70s (or 80s) because that's not them anymore. But I still prefer it over 21st century Rush.
