ozzy85
Lordy, dude. Hmmm. Elvis was there, but he gave it up soon. Though I dig his '70's tuff totally. Chuck Berry was the first and steadfast Rock'n'Roll king. Page? I like him, but if we gotta go 1970 on this, Iommi. Elvis had a stinky butt and he stole the blues from the African American. Elvis died properly on his "Throne." Saying that though I too love Seventies Elvis. It's all about "Suspicious Minds." Great tune. I would take Buddy Holly over Elvis any day for the "KING." The dude played the Apollo for God's sake. That was cutting edge back in the day. Signed,  "American Pie"

ReRushed
There is no one "King of Rock 'n' Roll"! Too many individuals contributed to the formation. But, I think more than any other seminal Rock 'n' Roll artist, Chuck Berry really defined the template used by everyone after him. Lyrics, musicianship and showmanship. And he wrote his songs. Listen to the words, listen to the guitar solos and do the duck walk. There would be no Lennon...or Jagger...or Townshend...or Page...or Hendrix... apetersvt
I too will have to go with Jimi Hendrix. Of those listed, I'd vote for Jimmy Page.

Earthshine
I should have also had Buddy Holly, Bill Haley and Jimi Hendrix and Pete Townshend. My vote went to Jimmy Page. Jimi Hendrix would be a close 2nd.
