PriestOfSyrinx
Have you ever misheard or thought a word was something it actually isn't? After 5 years of being a Rush fan (and having it as my favorite song) I learned that in Subdivisions "The timeless soul attraction" is actually, "the timeless OLD attraction". Additionally, I also never knew "the suburbs have no charms to soothe the restless dreams of YOUTH". I always thought it was "YOU". Can you guys come up with any? Tarkus406
Ugh I HATE lemony cake! In Tom Sawyer I always thought he screamed "THE CHANGES" rather than "BUT CHANGE IS"
ColdFireYYZ
QUOTE (PriestOfSyrinx @ Oct 5 2010, 06:22 PM) I also never knew "the suburbs have no charms to soothe the restless dreams of YOUTH". I always thought it was "YOU". Me too, I just realised that a few months ago. I always thought the Force Ten lyrics "tough times demand tough talk" was "tough times the man tough talks." In Tom Sawyer I thought :But change is" was "Oh Changes".

Presto-a RUSH fan!
An ex friend of mine always thought that Natural Science had the following line: "The most endangered species, BEYOND THIS BAND" It was such a great feeling to tell him it really is: "The most endangered species, THE HONEST MAN" My mis-quote has always been in Subdivisions (and I think it should be!!!jk) "Any escape might help to PROVE The unattractive truth" real lyric: "Any escape might help to SMOOTH The unattractive truth"

realomind
"we've been smoking Lebanon" In Driven I thought Geddy was singing: "Driven to the edge of a guitar chord" When really it's: "Driven to the edge of a deep, dark hole"
