Met the wonderful Colin Hay last night, after a stellar show in Dublin. His stories are hilarious! A true gent off-stage too.

He looks like that dude from Men At Work!

Ya reckon????????????????????

Well, is it?

Well, considering that it looks just like the dude from Men At Work, and Hatchet said that he met Colin Hey last night... What are the odds that there are two Colin Hays that look exactly alike?

It took me going to Australia to figure out what Vegemite was...they call it "an acquired taste" over there. Sorry to say that but if that's the case, it's one taste I couldn't acquire, no matter how hard I tried.

Cool pic, it took me a few seconds to recognise him. Where was that picture taken?

Hey and I have that exact t-shirt! :haz:

This boat is amazing. Where is it at? And thanks for not leaving this in your sig.

it is in St. Louis, MO, right on the Mississippi in front of the Gateway Arch. I actually played the Blues on a piano they had on the main deck on this ship. It started raining so everyone went inside and the piano was there so I said "why not' and started jamming. The people loved it! It was great playing the Blues on a River boat called "Tom Sawyer" on the Mississippi. Not too many keyboardist can say that!

Great picture!

Colin Hay is one of the most underrated song writers of all time.

His work with Men at Work is fantastic, but his solo outings are just brilliant.

You look identical to my long lost mother...could it be?

Prolly not. I think I would have noticed giving birth to a fully functioning iChild. :LMAO:

I will be your forum mom though. :)

This is the only one of my babies that I have not posted a picture of. Do not mistake cuteness for kindness however. Little Misty is not very nice at all and the others avoid her like the plague. I know she loves me and needs me, but she is very pushy and sort of evil in a way. Not a lap cat at all........ :codger: :scared:

That cat doesn't look sweet at all. I used to have a little black cat with gorgeous green eyes that would love up on me one minute and then get that exact look on her face and attempt to eat my soul. Sleep with one eye open.

"I'm a sweet kitty and can sleep anywhere. I would prefer a random box or bag just lying around somewhere. I will however enjoy this beautiful, sunny window sill. What is this goofy art project some kid made when he was young doing here? Oh well, back to sleep for me" Mr. Khaki................

Apologies. I meant to put this in the "cats" thread but screwed up.............
