  1. Buck up, lass. You got this. I'll do my best. :7up:
  2. Oh, treeduck. That's supposed to he a secret.... Rod, I've been working my tail off at the salon. :7up: 12 hour days 6 days a week. Barely have time to sleep.
  3. I'm pretty good! I've been working 12 hour days doing hair, 6 days a week. I'm incredibly happy, but pooped. E and I are amazing, my girls are amazing, my motorcycle is amazing and so is my horse. I'll try not to keep dropping off the face of the TRF planet.
  4. Awwwww..... You all are the best! :)
  5. I sure hope so. My girls and I have been screaming nothing but Rush since we all got home. I've cried some.
  6. I know this. But, it still sucks. I can still mourn the end of something perfect and amazing.
  7. Awwww.... Happy birthday, vegetable foul!!!!
  8. http://consequenceofsound.net/2016/03/alex-lifeson-confirms-rushs-retirement-from-touring/ I saw this earlier today. I'm so incredibly heart broken about this, but in a highly selfish way. These men have been inspirational, father like, and incredibly wonderful to have had the privilege to see a few times. Rest is well deserved . I just want to be selfish for a few ore moments....
  9. Thanks all!!! It was fab! I got spoiled by my young and my man. What a great weekend. Today I get to sit on my can and listen to music and chill. Charity Strapped, eh Treeduck?
  10. Don't get me wrong. I'm SO SO SO thankful for the 4 times I've been blessed to see them. The universe has been very good to me. It's just heartbreaking to have all good things end.
  11. Uh.... Peeps? How the hell do I get periscope to work?! I almost broadcast my damn shower last night ...
  12. I'll watch the periscopes when I'm on WiFi. I just want to crawl up on my motorcycle, blast Rush music and bawl my ever loving eyes out. My voice is still kind of gone, so I won't be noisy. I feel bad for my coworkers today. They've had to deal with lines of cell phone photos from a proud parent whenever their child does something.... Not to mention wet blanket PCD syndrome.
  13. There's a little phenomenon that I discovered after my first Rush concert for Counterparts in 97. I was incredibly depressed after the show. I'm actually heartbroken this time around as the show had a flavor of "Thanks for the amazing ride, we retire soon!" Which is very VERY well deserved. SO we'll deserved. My eldest daughter had the same reaction when I took her to see her favorite band, Paramore. She's the one that put a name to this sad, empty feeling bouncing around our shell of post concert bodies. Does anyone else have this, or is this a genetic anomaly in my lineage? Edited for a stoopid autocorrect.
  14. I'm at the concert. Right now. Like, the boys are going potty and getting refreshed. Zomg. Teh amazeballs. I can't even.
  15. I'm always off and on. This is the only forum I visit anymore. I'll always be back here and there. I'm an 11 year veteran. This place is like coming home on the holidays to visit family.
