Maiden wins for musicianship, but as far as overall influence and just kick ass riffage, you gotta go with Sabbath!! Both Rock balls and know how to bring it though!!! Digital Man Posted January 27, 2009 Share Posted January 27, 2009 Loved them both back in the 80's. Went with Sabbath, their music seems more timeless to me. I have heard some Maiden lately (old stuff) and it just doesn't it for me as much anymore. It's odd because I LOVED them in the mid 80's; had all their albums and saw them a few times.
