  1. It was amazing! And I was there. Yay!
  2. My Dad has requested this for his birthday. I think I will oblige.
  3. QUOTE (metaldad @ Jun 15 2009, 02:15 PM) watch SCARFACE. This reminds me of once watching a top100 best films to see before you die or something like that and some talking head went "If you haven't seen Scarface you haven't lived!" To which my bf responded "I once watched Scarface and I almost died!" Well, didn't grab him apparently. As for fav actor of all time, it's a tought one. Apart from all the great ones already mentioned, Christopher Walken has always been a personal favourite of mine. Gary Oldman is great too.

No, the worst Genesis album is either From Genesis To Revelation or And Then There Were Three. I've always had a soft spot for Calling All Stations. It's really underrated. Agreed on FGTR, but ATTW3? That album rules! I would put Calling All Stations above: Genesis (self-titled, Shapes, Mama, whatever) Invisible Touch I love both of those. In fact, the self-titled has my fave Genesis song on it: Silver Rainbow. I think Invisible Touch brings out the kid in me, since I loved it to death when I was a kid. I came close to wearing out the cassette. As for ATTW3, I can't say anything bad about the album which has Ballard Of Big and Scenes From A Night's Dream! And I love Follow You Follow Me, and not afraid to admit it! So there! Indeedy! And not to forget Burning Rope and Undertow - some of the very best from Tony. Undertow used to be my very fav G song for quite awhile when I was a teenager.
  5. Congo is catchy alright. But even listening to it I can't help wishing they'd recruted a more expressive vocalist.
  6. QUOTE (Jaye @ Jun 9 2009, 08:17 PM) Yeah sorry, still obsessed! No bother. Love Pete's hair in the first one. And the last one of Tony is hot!
  7. QUOTE (Storm Shadow @ May 27 2009, 02:23 AM) I guess I'm the only person who liked T3. Anyway, Salvation was just okay to me. It didn't really feel like a Terminator movie, just a loud action movie. You're not alone. I have watched Salvation today. I liked T3 much better - especially the ending. Salvation was ok. The biggest problem I had with it - in the bit where Marcus, Kyle and the mute girl blow up the big terminator that has just picked up the old lady and put her in a cage inside itself *that apparently is exposed to the outside*, the terminator then emerges from the flames, and then we find that all the people in the cage *are alive and unharmed*.
  8. "I'm a murdering bastard, you know that. And there are consequences to breaking the heart of a murdering bastard." How I loved him in Kill Bill! That dialogue is one of the most exciting scenes I've ever seen.

Clarkson is definitely not my cup of tea, although I refuse to view him as a figure of universal loathing that he seems to be (there are quite a bunch of those in the UK, as I have found out and sadly, Phil is one of them )

I did not know that, I've got some of their stuff on some samplers and liked it very much. Permission to Land was a very fun disc. I've not heard anything from Hot Leg yet, is it the same style as The Darkness? Yea they broke up like a year ago I think. It was a good album. If you liked The Darkness then you will like Hot Leg. It sounds more like The Darkness then the Stone Gods. so if you liked TD then I suggest you pick up 'Red Light Fever' great album. I loved the Darkness so much, but I always thought their rhythm section sucked. Is Hot Leg better in this respect?
  12. It's the whole Aliens saga (minus the inferior Alien vs Predator ones) for me. I can watch them over and over again - marvellously done each and every one of them
