bluefox4000 Posted June 14, 2023 Share Posted June 14, 2023 In Flames-Reroute to Remain (10/10) Between the Buried and me opened up metal to me in a big way (mainly harsh vocals) So i'm revisiting a bunch of bands. this album rules. Mick Yeah I picked it up on account of a YouTube thumbnail that called it a prog masterpiece, which very much intrigued me. Then I started seeing everyone else’s reactions to it and I knew it was gonna be one of those things that really works for some people and really doesn’t for others. As opoosed to Segue's blanket statement (lolseies) i will say it is very proggy but more in the side of very weird prog. so if you can't stomache weird lyrics vocal effects and seemingly out of place song bits yea steer clear. however most progheads i've seen (and i have looke a lot for opinions) are indeed loving it. so it's down to your judgement.
