You are absolutely right. I will vote on the basis of who is/or was the freakiest and most musically gifted and give Uncle Frank both votes.

The Hall and Oates album was huge, spawning four hits (Including Kiss on My List and Dreams Come True) plus another teach that Paul Young covered for a hit (Ever Time You Go Away). If pop soul is your jam, than it's a good choice here.

 

Pop soul is not my jam, so Zappa. Peaches In Regalia is a fusion classic.

I don't think some realize that Daryl Hall is a great singer. Catchy, melodic and soulful pop gets my vote.

 

Not just a great singer, probably one of the best of the 70s. Guy could give Lou Gramm a run for his money... it might even be the other way around.

I've got nothing against Hall & Oats... it's just that Zappa is one of my all-time favourites.

Just no on the Hall and Oates.

There is only one Hall and Oates song I like and I can’t even name it.

 

Edit: She’s Gone is a decent song.
