oghond2112 Posted January 19, 2018 Posted January 19, 2018 2112 is... meh. Except Temples of Syrinx. 1
oghond2112 Posted January 19, 2018 Posted January 19, 2018 2112 is... meh. Except Temples of Syrinx. And I mean the track. The album is meh, too. Except for "Something for Nothing," and ToS.

What about the musical you wrote based on 2112? What about your sn? I can never trust a TRFer with “2112” in their sn. You’re all nuts!!! :P
Alien Girl Posted January 19, 2018 Posted January 19, 2018 Mission is so bad it almost makes me cry. 1
goose Posted January 19, 2018 Posted January 19, 2018 A Farewell To Kings is a Fairly Bad Album. Without Xanadu and CTTH it would be unthinkably bad. MY MAN!! lol Totally agree. stunningly over praised record. Mickx 3 1
goose Posted January 19, 2018 Posted January 19, 2018 (edited) Cygnus X-1 Book 1 is Spinal Tap-ish. It really is IMO. The only time I really enjoyed it was when they did it live with no lyrics/singing. T4E Tour, maybe? Or Vapor Trails? ETA: It was Vapor Trails, which also featured a resurrected ByTor and the Snowdog. Edited January 19, 2018 by goose
Stormtron Posted January 19, 2018 Posted January 19, 2018 Grace Under Pressure and Power Windows are stronger albums than Signals. I think it's front-loaded and I've never been into The Weapon as much as everyone else seems to be. That being said, I still love the album and rate it an 8/10. I just wanted something else to write other than the debut album rules. THE DEBUT F'N RULES THOUGH. 2
Planet X-1 Posted January 19, 2018 Posted January 19, 2018 Alex is a better guitar player than Eddie.... :D 2
goose Posted January 19, 2018 Posted January 19, 2018 Alex is a better guitar player than Eddie.... :DMore versatile, anyway. 2
Texas King Posted January 19, 2018 Posted January 19, 2018 Cygnus II Hemispheres and Red Barchetta are two overrated Rush songs on TRF(they are far from bad, but overrated nonetheless). 2
bluefox4000 Posted January 19, 2018 Posted January 19, 2018 Dreamline is overrated. but i think it's down to it being played to infinity live since it's release. Mick 1
Wil1972 Posted January 19, 2018 Posted January 19, 2018 Alex is a better guitar player than Eddie.... :D That is fact. 3
Entre_Perpetuo Posted January 19, 2018 Author Posted January 19, 2018 XanaConductor was a great idea. Legit one of the worst ideas in rock history. 3

Legit one of the worst ideas in rock history. i remember i was listening to a bootleg of that period. i was enjoying Xanadu. Superconductor butts in. i'm not joking....i shouted FCK YOU at my computer, lol Worst thing to do to a prog classic ever, lol Mick Edited January 19, 2018 by bluefox4000 2
zappafrank Posted January 19, 2018 Posted January 19, 2018 Alex is actually an incredibly sloppy player.
On TheRoad To Adventure Posted January 19, 2018 Posted January 19, 2018 Rivendell is better than everything on Presto with the possible exception of Show Don't Tell, and everything on Snakes other than Far Cry and 2 of the three instrumentals. Rivendell is an amazing song. It's true that it's not really rock, but still an amazing song. 3
zappafrank Posted January 19, 2018 Posted January 19, 2018 Their weakest albums are Roll the Bones and Snakes and Arrows. 1
zappafrank Posted January 19, 2018 Posted January 19, 2018 Contrary to what anyone might say, they really do want us to think that that... thing in the video for Mystic Rhythms really is a penis 1
BenjaminW Posted January 20, 2018 Posted January 20, 2018 Snakes and Arrows relied too much on instrumentals. 2
