goose
the CarsThe other day I revisited Bye, Bye Love, Moving In Stereo and It's All Mixed Up. That may be my all-time favorite three-song close of any album. A special nod to the sax solo on All Mixed Up.

RushFanForever
I was hoping this debut album would make the list. (1982)
Steevo
Can't see why the Boston album is held up that highly on here, it was never that solid. The debut is perfect, with not a note out of place. For me, that sonic perfection wore thin fast on the subsequent albums, where the material just wasn't that good. I owned the album for many years (originally for "that song") and gave it numerous tries but ended up boring me somewhat. It doesn't even compare with the VH debut which has never staled overall. IMO boston was polished perfection whereas VH was more ballsy. two great records but i prefer VH for sure Two great productions, no arguement there.
Texas King
I voted for Van Halen. A debut album should not be as good as that one is. Amenno album can touch Van Halen's debut IMO I yield to no one in my love for the DLR era, but Sabbath's, the Cars', the Doors' and, yes, Maiden's debuts are in the ballpark with VH's IMO. Appetite for Destruction? Are You Experienced? Led Zeppelin I? Edited September 10, 2020 by Texas King
