Maverick Posted May 24, 2020 Posted May 24, 2020 Holy crap, he's three years younger than my stepmother.
Nova Carmina Posted May 24, 2020 Posted May 24, 2020 Happy Birthday you legend! (PS. Please give back your Nobel in Literature . . . .)
driventotheedge Posted May 24, 2020 Posted May 24, 2020 Happy 79th to quite probably the greatest songwriter of our time. 2
custom55 Posted May 24, 2020 Posted May 24, 2020 (edited) For those of you who haven't seen Rolling Thunder Revue, you should. Edited May 24, 2020 by custom55 1
driventotheedge Posted May 24, 2020 Posted May 24, 2020 I recommend the album Real Live by Bob. It's got excellent versions of some of his more well-known songs including alternative lyrics to Tangled Up in Blue as well as Carlos Santana guesting on guitar on the song Tombstone Blues. 1
The Cat 3 Posted May 24, 2020 Author Posted May 24, 2020 (edited) I recommend the album Real Live by Bob. It's got excellent versions of some of his more well-known songs including alternative lyrics to Tangled Up in Blue as well as Carlos Santana guesting on guitar on the song Tombstone Blues. I was at that show at Wembley Stadium in 1984, what a magical night it was. Mick Taylor was the guitarist in his band for that tour. There’s a complete show released by Empress Valley called, “All Roads Lead to Wembley”. Eric Clapton, Van Morrison and Chrissie Hynde all were guests in that show. Edited May 24, 2020 by The Cat 3
