MalformedEarthborn Posted November 19, 2018 Posted November 19, 2018 Caress of Steel pretty much daily 2
lifeson90 Posted November 19, 2018 Posted November 19, 2018 Not given moving pictures much attention for a couple decades or more really until few weeks ago and pretty much all i'm listening to right now
Todem Posted November 19, 2018 Posted November 19, 2018 (edited) Been really stuck in the same area/period of the band that is near and dear to my heart. Waves-HYF That run of albums is where my passion for Rush was built upon. With the Hemispheres Super Deluxe on it's way to me, I will revel in that album for a while as it is my second favorite Rush album ever recorded. Edited November 19, 2018 by Todem 2
goose Posted November 19, 2018 Posted November 19, 2018 I have snakes in arrow stuck in my CD playerA great sounding album.
Bigbobby10 Posted November 19, 2018 Posted November 19, 2018 Been on a long break from Rush, it has been amazing to not listen to them. But once I get back to listening to them (whenever that is) Caress of Steel will be the first album I come back to. 1
blueschica Posted November 19, 2018 Posted November 19, 2018 I listened to a lot of Vapor Trails (the remix) today in the car running errands. Too early for Christmas music!
Rick N. Backer Posted November 19, 2018 Posted November 19, 2018 I have snakes in arrow stuck in my CD playerA great album. Fixed
yyz305 Posted November 20, 2018 Posted November 20, 2018 Original Vapor Trails. Forget the 'noise' and enjoy the music and themes instead 1
Mr. JD Posted November 20, 2018 Posted November 20, 2018 Whichever one comes up when I hit “shuffle”. Doesn’t matter to me. They’re all good. 1

MalformedEarthborn Posted November 21, 2018 Posted November 21, 2018 Caress of Steel pretty much dailyYou, Sir, have impeccable taste in music ! You as well good sir! I never tire of CoS. I take breaks from my other faves but if I get in a Rush mood, I reach for my tattered old CoS vinyl. Surprisingly went back to GuP and PoW on the weekend. Not an 80s hater, just usually not in that kind of mood. 1
grasbo Posted November 21, 2018 Posted November 21, 2018 Signals. All my cds are packed in boxes while my new shed is being fitted out and Signals just happened to be on top.Just a great album from a great time in music and my life.By this stage i was eagerly awaiting each new Rush album and GUP didn't dissappoint. 2
Rutlefan Posted November 21, 2018 Posted November 21, 2018 ESL, in the daily driver, because it's the one my kids like and it takes me back to when Rush was far and away my favorite band, no remotely close second. I mostly listen to side 3 and La Villa but will return to the other tracks too. Not the best production but the tracks are great. Beyond that I've got Vapor Trails re-mix in an old (historic tags) car with a new stereo. For some reason it fits the car. 1

jnoble Posted November 24, 2018 Posted November 24, 2018 Had my 2011 remaster of Power Windows in my car lately. I've always liked the lyrics but a lot of the music they put to them (I'm looking at you Emotion Detector) isn't that exciting. Plus that cold reverbed to death sterile 80s sound. But The Big Money & Marathon are always welcome to my ears in either studio or live form. Too bad the rest of the album didn't follow in their energy
Fordgalaxy Posted November 24, 2018 Posted November 24, 2018 Just got the "Hemispheres" 40th anniversary discs so that will be on the playlist ASAP. 1
jnoble Posted November 25, 2018 Posted November 25, 2018 I considered getting the 40th Hemi but I don't have a 5.1 set up at home and I doubt the remaster will sound much different from the '97 I have 1

Scooch Posted November 25, 2018 Posted November 25, 2018 I bought a new turntable recently and my vinyl copy of Moving Pictures has been sounding mighty fine on it! 1
