It’s not a bad song, per se, but the stretch of albums from GUP (which would have been fine as an experiment, not a direction) through T4E were filled with more mediocre than great work, IMO. Those albums really aren’t on par with PeW and MP.

For what it's worth, I like probably about 90 percent of what Rush has released. I don't think they ever had a bad album overall but they have had some bad songs. All bands not matter how good always have some stinkers. Nobody hits it out of the park every time they're at the plate no matter how talented they are.

 

I’m a fan, so I can enjoy all of their work to some degree. I just went through a binge, so I listened to ASoH a few times. But T4E isn’t PeW, no matter how long you’ve followed the band. Like you said, none of us perform equally well at our jobs every day of our lives.

 

I dont care what songs anybody loves or hates, I just care about people bashing Rush over the head with insults. Its insanity
