Hatchetaxe&saw
Sad news, only 56. It would appear he had been battling cancer. For those of you who don't know, Grant was vocalist/drummer/songwriter with Husker Du. He also recorded with/as Nova Mob and as a solo artist. He had a way with melody that few of his peers could match. A real loss.
Lurkst
:( Gutted to read this, he wrote some of my favourite songs. There was always the very faint hope him and Bob might do something together again. The music remains though. RIP.
Fridge
Really sad, and way too young. A great songwriter in his day... RIP

invisible airwave
Slowly been getting into them for the past few years with about a handful of listens to their albums. Great rock band and precursor to grunge. I remember being a big Everclear fan in high school and reading that Alexakis was hugely influence by them. RIP Grant. Mithrandir
Huskers kicked so much f***ing ass. Hart's drumming and singing were top notch.

Blue J
:( Just seeing this now. RIP I should dig up Zen Arcade and Warehouse. Haven't listened to Husker Du for quite awhile. Candy Apple Grey was/is my absolute favorite.
