Nothing would be more appropriate for my first phot in Canada than this - the Parliament Building, where the cover of Moving Pictures was shot:

I saw Anthrax on May 03rd, with Killswitch Engage and The Devil Wears Prada:

This is, of course, the place where All The World´s A Stage was recorded:

Rod, when are you hitting up The Orbit Room? I can totally imagine you running into Lifeson by chance. If not, it's a bar that has live music so you can't lose anyway.

You should hook up with Barney Rebel who lives outside of Toronto. He's a good guy to hang out with and a runner like you too.

I haven't had the chance to go there yet, but I will. We had a tough time trying to find a daycare spot for Stella, but after an exhaustive search where we considered fifteen schools (eight of which I visited in person in the last two days), she'll start today. Then I'll have more time to organize the house and visit other sites too. I think Danforth and Pape will be next. And I'll definitely contact Barney, thanks for reminding me!

Seems weird seeing you in a totally different environment. Not that that is a bad thing. :D

I know, right? It'll take time to adjust to a new reality...so many things are different here, the weather being one of them. But we'll be ok.

Our daughter started school yesterday, and she'll need our support, because it's clear her adaptation will require some attention in the first few days. Let's see how it goes.

Thanks for Sharing those Rod.. Your in for so many adventures. Hows your daughter doing?

She's ok, but we're a bit worried. I checked 15 daycares, and the only spot I could find was one in an infant's room. She was already quite advanced for kids her age, so this is a huge step back for her. We're afraid she'll be a bit bored. But at least it'll give her time to learn English and slowly adapt. We found another place in pre-school starting in July, and we'll enroll her there asap.

Massey Hall is a great venue. Saw Dream Theater there in 2014. The way the lobby/hallways are set up can make waiting or moving around pretty uncomfortable if the venue is packed as it was when I was there. But the main venue has a great design. Didn't seem like there was a bad seat in the house.

Can't recommend seeing a show there enough if a band you like is playing. It's just one of those perfect kind of venues.
