I'll consolidate the discography:

We're drug addicts off and on.

We replace guitarists frequently

We rip off Hendrix and Parliment_Funkadelic.

Guitarist dies and replaced by someone who can’t drink yet and Will Ferrell is the new drummer.

You could say they got colder with a hot...minute.

Smash hit solo debut with album of the year at the Grammys and number one self titled single and album of the year.

Lennon esque number one hit and video with supermodels but sells a fraction because Columbia won’t promote it.

New record deal with a new label that’s also a new studio from 3 moguls that performs worse while throwing shade at former label with headphones in music video.

Well, well, well. I’m back at Sony.

Great self titled debut

Not a bad sophomore but effort and kind of the footprint of goth.

Step down with some poppy songs from the guitarist but still good.

All the four singles are not written by our lead but poppy horn heavy songs with a sax solo on our biggest hit because our lead singer is too drunk.

Let's get back to our bluesy hard rock roots.

Same as above but with a raw bluesy production.

Let's soldier on without our late lead vocalist.

Repeat and call it quits.

The Doors?

No question about it. Might say that as much as more than half of Soft Parade is not very "Doorsy" , the title track is one of Jim's more underappreciated songs imo.

I think the album is very Doorsy, but also more spontaneous and fun. Huge fan of that unique, and weird album.

I like it a lot, more adventurous than the debut in a lot of ways, if a lot sillier as well.

Exactly! I love the debut, it's a superior album, but I also love this one.

I love all their albums though.

Self titled debut reissued with extra tracks including a hit remake.

Still punk but dipping toes in experimentation.

We made the best double album of 1979 not by Floyd and Mac.

Let’s go further with triple and be even more avant garde.

We peaked at number 8 in the US with a hit song but we’re on the verge of breaking up.

Fired my guitarist and drummer and got my manager to control things! What could possibly go wrong? Oh yeah! Worst album of our career and that’s it.

1. We all left our previous bands (except the drummer, we picked him up off the street) to make this masterpiece debut album.

2. Trying too hard to be the debut album.

We just gave up trying to make our 3rd album because we know we can't make anything better than our debut.

Damn Yankees?

I just listened to both their albums yesterday for the first time in a few years. So many gems!

Agreed. Don't Tread's good songs are really good, and it's bad songs are significantly worse so there's really no middle for me there.

One man project from former drummer

Highest selling album and fired my first drummer for the current one.

2 records at Capitol and now we’re at RCA

Re recorded and admits only a few good songs are on there.

Double album with one side hard rock and one side acoustic

Same formula as previous but one album.

Recorded in a garage and our old guitarist is back! Music video pays homage to my new current avatar.

HBO miniseries documentary concept album

Justin Timberlake and that singer from Boyz II Men who did that Mr Holland’s Opus song as guest vocalist with Sir Elton on piano.

The Cars and Duran Duran for millennials!

I’m obsessed with Springsteen, U2 and Meat Loaf!

Lead single with a weird lyric based on a Hunter S Thompson quote.

We’re slowly starting to sound like our imitators.

We’ve gone full Imagine Dragons.

Please get back to your old selves with your album out this month.

Our first song is 13 minutes long, and yes we put ourselves naked on the cover

We're actually writing our song's lyrics now

We were high and horny when writing this

Perfect mix of hard rock and prog ballads

Popular in Canada despite a song about the US Bicentennial

New guitarist, not enough rock

The world aint too great, but hey we got 5 hits from this one

The world likes money too much, but we only got 3 hits from this one

Our only #1 song came from this, we also got popular in Europe and wrote a song pleading a political figure not to run for president

The world isnt too great again, so we're using a theater only we know about, as a metaphor

The world hates rock music, also this guy's a robot.

New guitarist, its a ballad fest

Old guitarist is back, most of this one was recorded in 2 separate locations because we cant stand each other anymore

We're pretty much a new band at this point, and a Canadian superstar joined our band

We're goddamn astronauts and no one can stop us

Took me a minute and I only understand half the references, but that's gotta be Styx!

Van Weezer as well. 2020 doesn’t suck. No no no...it swallows.
