gotta have better way of doing this...like having a brightly colored white board on the sideline with the players number that's eligible written on it. or a red sticker placed on the eligible jersey. detroit's offense tends to out-cute itself. they have plenty of talent not to rely on bullshit trick plays.1 point

i dunno....when you have talks of baseball using robo strike zones then you have to ask...why have umpires at all?1 point

I assumed that once Ed Hochuli and Jeff Triplette retired, the officiating would get much better. WRONG!!1 point

I am convinced that no professional sports organization-including FIFA and the EPL-has worse officiating than the NFL.1 point

Well this trip kind of sucked, no cap -- but the Great Smoky/Nantahala/Cherokee mountains were kind of nice. The highlight was just getting to chill and do nothing in Florida for a couple of days.1 point

Lol to me being on the wrong side of the Falcons every single week. And overall I've had a horrible year picking games each week.1 point

At then of the above article, a possible explanation: "...maybe the confusion came out of sheer gamesmanship. In what was clearly an effort to confuse the Cowboys, the Lions had both Decker and Skipper approach Allen, likely with the hope that someone on the Dallas defense wasn’t playing close attention and might miss which of the two players was actually eligible. But in the effort to confuse the Cowboys, the Lions instead confused Allen, who could have heard Decker report as eligible but mistakenly believe it was Skipper."1 point

For their 17th game in 2024, the Packers host an AFC East team. They will play the team that finishes in the same place as they do. The Jets will most probably finish 3rd in the AFC East. If the Packers finish 3rd in the NFC North, they will host the Jets next year. This must not happen.1 point

And there's your flag. 68 did not report. Lions backed up...try again. PICKED! But it's off-side defense. Attempt #3...pass is short and is dropped. Somehow, Goff is Goff in the end.1 point

Just imagine if Gow were a K-12 school principal or teacher. Would he have supporters then? From kindergarten through college, teachers and administrators hold the same duties and responsibilities. Gow just doesn't get it.1 point

Saw that in 11th grade US history class about 25-26 years ago. Same class even showed Untouchables since the prohibition era was studied. Who Framed Roger Rabbit? The movie that made me love movies for life and it’s still great 35 years later. Saw it 3 times in a theater. PATTYCAKE!1 point

Oppenheimer, it was pretty good. I've always loved Fat Man and Little Boy with Jon Cusak and Paul Newman and will always consider it a superior movie, but Oppenheimer was indeed watchable. Great special effects, too.1 point
