Anyone not familiar with Fallon check out YouTube. Plenty of clips on there. One of my fave segments was jimmy and the roots doing blurred lines with toy instruments. They do a hell of a job and you can tell they had a great time.

I never have either but I just figured everybody already knew that..... Like I said, great they tried but it sounded like sh*t... :)

Speaking of weird Rush covers (though aren't all of the covers a little weird?) has everyone heard Nelly Furtado doing "Time Stand Still"? I still have a hard time believing that exists, and I've heard it.

Yeah, i thought it was decent. The singer was off, but the instrumentation was pretty solid. The drummer was ok for the most part. I think its cool that a band who is on the radar with younger kids gives props to Rush..whos to say how many kids may have actually went out after the show and checked out Moving Pictures?..its cool...not sure why people get so offended by it..its good publicity for Rush and adds to their influence.

Fallon is AWESOME!!! As AncientWays said, Leno is corny and unfunny (has he EVER been funny???!!!) Whereas Fallon is hugely talented and hilarious. I am so glad that bit stealing, never was funny, never is funny, never will be funny Leno is gone and hopefully for good this time. Don't let the door hit ya in the chin Leno you cuntt (to quote Ducky). Good riddance!!! It's a great day at the 11:30 time slot, finally somebody worth watching!!!

Haters gon' hate! LOL I LOVE Jimmy Fallon!! I think he's hilarious, and I absolutely love him as a late night host. He's actually become a very close second to my personal fave, Conan (don't you Rushians be dissin' my CoCo, now). I have never found Leno funny. Heck, even mildly amusing....I just never did. *shrug* very dry sense of humour. I never liked him much, but he's still waaayyyyyyyyyyy better than Letterman 0_o

Recorded on a phone of course it's going to sound like shit. They are one of the more promising new acts out there. I'm definitely a fan and can't wait to hear their next album. On the Beatles 50th anniversary Ed Sullivan show they did a fantastic version of revolution. Check out their appearance on snl from a couple weeks ago. Pretty impressive.

My grandmother went through this slow process right before she passed away, and now my mother talks about it. Issues about money and personal possessions can be very painful when dealing with family. Even if you haven't gotten along with said family members, the issue of death is always going to be the biggest game changer imaginable sooner or later. It's not going to be easy, but I'm sure you realize that not being prepared would be far worse. If you need support from anybody, reach out. We're here, too.

A shot of me and my little man. Just turned 5 on an 8 and under travel team. His team won the silver medal. He had no goals :( although he had about a dozen shots (hit the post twice and crossbar once) and 2 assists. Skated his little but off. He's the one on the far right, standing, about 2 heads shorter than the kid in front of him. I misread the thread title on first reading, so I closed my eyes and visualized a dragon behind a drum kit, one playing guitar, and one on bass and keys. It was pretty cool. ;)

Enjoyed reading the part about his daughter. Given the tragedies he has endured in his life, the best part was reading about the joy and happiness in his life. I can't fault him if he wants more of that and less Rush. *ducks for cover* :o

It was quite clear that the firing came as a shock and he was far from "happy to leave". His gravy train ended! Holy shit, He had to actually prove he could produce another band! Uh-oh... Seriously, I have no disrespect towards Terry Brown, he did a fantastic job producing Rush, but he was not the reason Rush was as successful as they were. It's not like all he touched turned to gold. He owes far more to Rush than Rush has to owe to him. Too many are hung up on a producer from the 1970's. Move on...

Looks great! Nice job! I love your site as well. Only one mistake I noticed and it's a spelling error. In the section about Leave That Thing Alone, it's "lose" not "loose".
