Stick It Out is really good tune. stop trying to hype it up. I'm still trying to drum up some enthusiasm for Faithless. i'd like to use one of my beers breaks with faithless and i'll save my phone a friend for later. I'll be rocking to that excellent tune! and i will quietly resist by taking a beer break. yes I will have an empty bladder and a fresh beverage by the time BU2B starts. and i'll just be walking over to the food court beer in hand. you're gonna skip BU2B? Everyday Glory
We'll find out soon in Kansas City. Anyway, a few minutes of a song we don't care for WHO CARES! As Gene Simmons said "IT'S RUSH". Hmm, will you also skip Freewill and 2112 (Ayn Rand influence)? I'm a big fan of Spock's Beard, but would not walk out on songs of theirs because I don't agree with the religous viewpoint. (Their original singer/songwriter Neal Morse is devoutly religous.) You may take a different view, of course. A good friend of mine is no longer a Rush fan, because the lyrics contradict his beliefs. Hemispheres89
Here's how I TRULY feel about this setlist now.. 1. Spirit of Radio - HELL YES! 2. Time Stands Still - YES! 3. Stick It Out - OK! (but could be something else.. but not complaining) 4. Presto - perfectly fine with it, but my only worry is I'll feel sleepy during it if it's not "hard" enough. Especially after the first few high energy songs. 5. Workin' Them Angels - UGGH! 6. Leave That Thing Alone - AWESOME! 7. Faithless - DOUBLE UGGH!! 8. BU2B - my lesser favourite of the two new songs, but still good! 9. Freewill - YES! 10. Marathon - I think I just creamed myself! 11. Subdivisions - Already seen it live but pretty sure I'll ALWAYS love this one. 12-18. Moving Pictures album - the reason why I was eagerly buying tickets from the get-go! 19. Caravan - I can't WAIT to hear this one live! 20-21. Solos - Can't wait for Neil's. The highlight of the entire show, for me. 22. Closer To The Heart - Meh. 23. 2112 - ......... says it all right there 24. Far Cry - Good! But as an encore?! 25. La Villa Strangiato - The driving force behind making me reconsider this setlist when i didn't liek it at first glance. My favourite Rush song! 26. Working Man - ..and I thought I'd cream myself only once tonight I am digging this tour now, despite my original claims.

Something from GUP instead of stick it out would be great. I don't mind the first 2 and last 4, I like Stick it Out but its seems kinda weird to be the third song into the concert. Presto is "meh", but since it's never been played live, I'll put up with it. I think that Workin' Them Angels, LTTA and Faithless ruin the set for me. Freewill is ok, not a big surprise there. Marathon, i can't wait for that. Subdivisions, great song, love it, but i just don't think its a good ending for the first set. I'll have to see how it turns out Edited June 29, 2010 by KillerInstinct

I agree with your opinions, though my opinion of "Presto" is a little stronger than yours -- that's one of those underrated yet great Rush songs, and I've been posting about wanting to hear that one for a few years now. (And yes, I made the decision to look at the setlist this time. Didn't feel like working so hard to avoid it -- that's tough for a mod/admin to do.) Tarkus406
Well I'm stayin up tonight to hear the official list, only to make sure Jacob's Ladder is in it. If it is...ultimate pants-creaming setlist! If not...well, its still a good set and I got a couple weeks to get over the major disappointment so I can actually enjoy the show for what it is. That's really the only reason I'm looking. I don't want to think this whole time "yeah i cant wait for JL" then come the Toronto show and "what? NO JACOBS LADDER?! f**k!!" then be pissed off that I drove 10 hours away from home just to have my hopes and dreams crushed within 3 hours.
