I think it was clear that the writer was familiar with their work. In the same way some of us hate one song another loves, this person had a 'screwed up' list. But based on what was written about the various tracks it was clear they knew the songs. I could put out a list as well, having heard all of these songs at least dozens of times each, and most people here would still think my list was way off. I think that everyone in this group would suffer that fate. I used to hate Madrigal... but then I got my 40th anniversary AFTK, listened to it with older ears, and was really grabbed by it. 54 is probably a little high, but it's a good track. As easy as it would be to trash this...just doing my own list of top 25 was brutal. So it's a fun read. Glad there is an explanation for each song. I always find it interesting how other people rank the songs even if I don't agree with it. I am sure I will run afoul of many of you here with some of my choices (I like Superconductor, Stick it Out and most of VT; I don't care much for Between the Wheels or SnA).It can be a fun exercise.
