How good quality fast food like In N Out costs more than a McDonalds burger.

Why is this hard to understand?

I don't know what an In N Out is but when I go to Five Guys I pay 12 dollars for a cheeseburger and fries which is twice what I would pay for those things at a McDonalds or Burger King. But when I eat it, I know where that other 6 dollars goes.

The thing I don't understand is why everyone raves about In and Out burger.

We don't have them around here. But 5 Guys is great. You can watch them cut the potatoes and the patties are made from fresh ground beef. Very fattening and terrible for you but delicious.

We have five guys here as well and it's much better than In and Out. (IMO) I like Five Guys a lot.

I don't care for Five Guys but Culver's wins the burger war to me. In and Out is okay but they're kind of generic.

Culver's mushroom and swiss.

The best burger chain I can think of is Kua Aina.

Don't know if they're located anywhere else besides Hawaii and Japan.

Super bonus points for their onion rings and giant sized beer.

[edited to add]: Looks like the only locations outside of Hawaii and Japan are in London, England and Belfast, Northern Ireland.

I´ll go with a silly one and a serious one:

1) Sporting mullets in this day and age;

2) Why is it that a refugee gets permanent resident status in Canada, while I need to go through a lengthy process and provide a myriad of documents just to be CONSIDERED for permanent residency, with no guarantees that it´ll be granted?

In Canada refugees is worth more than its own citizens. Say you're a refugee and all the SJWs will fall on each other trying to help you.

Drivers looking for the traffic the wrong way before they pull out at an intersection, and then forgetting to look for traffic where it's closest.

Today's mainstream pop music.

Tomato in a burger.

Europe's defaitist way of upholding its borders.

Feminism.

Anything requiring high intellectual power.

Culvers is fantastic. I am especially a fan of the fried cheese curds (incredible). One of the few things I looked forward to when visiting in-laws in Illinois (besides ILSnwdog)

Why people put a container with an ounce or less of the product back in the fridge. An ounce of milk. A half spoonful of jam. A quarter knife-stroke of mustard...

and a cookie box with no cookies, dammitt!!!

Is that bacon or mushrooms on that swiss burger? It looks absolutely delicious. We don't have one of those places out here.

Mushroom and Swiss. I've only been there the one time since I've lived here but I'm going to definitely go back. One of the best hamburgers I've ever had.

I'll never understand sports fans in the stands fighting. I love sports but they're all still just games...and all not worth fighting over.

Why do some fans give that much of a shit?!

I do love when security boots such knuckleheads from the arena/stadium though.

Clean out the lint trap before you set the house on fire!!! :codger:

Believe it or not, many house fires out here start for that reason - no one cleans the lint traps in their dryers.

What's a lint trap?

The thing you never clean.

In my Apt. building, I don't know why they put a sign up above the dryer to do this, every time I go to use the darn thing the lint trap has NOT BEEN CLEANED. Yes, I live with some lazy ASSHOLES.

Crying and laughter must be closely related. How is it that you can be laughing one moment and suddenly start crying?

I think it's because laughter is sometimes a defence mechanism. If used as such then suddenly the dam can burst.

But it brings up another thing that I wonder about.

Why don't people brush their teeth better?

Doctor, I am glad you asked. :codger:

I still have all of my teeth. My dentist was amazed that "someone my age" still has all of her teeth. 15194121-emoticon-with-big-toothy-smile.jpg?ver=6

Maybe people are just not aware that it can cause a fire if not cleaned out. I clean mine off when ever I use it but the thought has never crossed my mind that it can start a fire if I didn't.
