x1yyz
The problem with "weird albums" is that the more you listen to them, the more normal they become. I spent the last part of the 80s listening to some weird stuff. I came here to post a couple of them and see that Hatchetaxe&saw beat me to mentioning Current 93! I will also throw in Throbbing Gristle and Coil to round out that little group.

goose
My sister had an album of Bertoldt Brecht's music, which included the Ballad of Paragraph 218, aka Abortion Is Illegal. Pretty strange stuff. German version: In English:

Lucas
.. (sinister) song + visuals, this one has got me . . I've always had this love/hate fascination with mannequins, and this taps right into that .. Starts out "Miku, Miku, you can call me Miku Blue hair, blue tie, hiding in your Wi-Fi" and finishes up with "I'm lying with you wide awake, like your expensive poison snake, you found me here inside a dream, walk through the fire straight to me" Maybe the weird aspect is the fact that I like it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KNrdGx69pCo
goose
Scott Walker - Tilt Bought it for a dollar, couldn't get through it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uZK0m7HfH2E I'm intriguedI dig what I'm hearing. Here's a review of the album: http://www.sputnikmu...tt-Walker-Tilt/ Even if you hear it, there's a very real possibility that not only will you not like it, but that you won't even make it to the end of the first track. Two albums that often seem to be compared to this are Nico'sThe Marble Index and Lou Reed's Metal Machine Music; two albums that are in turn synonymous with difficult, borderline unlistenable music. goose
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iEFp7kR5K-A Can you follow me?Can you follow my distresses, my caresses, fiery guesses?Swim and sink into early morning merciesHe blesses you, he blesses meThe day the night caressesCaresses you, caresses me. Can you follow me?Dawn, your guise has filled my nights with fearAt each closing of my eyesYou never see these pictures in my mindCan you follow me?Aside from leaving overdrawn caressesAside from having thrown a joke on you and meCan you follow me?I cannot understand the way I feel until I rest on lawns of dawnsCan you follow me? Bigbobby10
Tangerine Dream- Ziet This album is weird. Dark, freaky, atmospheric, all of that. Not a lot of going on but at the same time it is like you are in a horror movie
