Na na na
Annoying is a good word too :P I'm not saying their music isn't adventurous. They just don't connect with me in any way, and I do find most of their songs a bit pompous, and not in a good way.
goose
I might take News of the World over MP, but not A Night at the Opera. I admire the accomplishment that the ANATO is, but I just don't dig the songs that much. ETA: '39 is a great live song, though

diatribein
I love Queen, but Moving Pictures is the choice here. As with much of 70s Queen all of the Freddie songs are great here (Death on Two Legs, Lazing on a Sunday Afternoon, Seaside Rendezvous, Love of My Life, and of course Bohemian Rhapsody), but Brian's 4 are truly awful on this album. Roger's song (I'm in Love with My Car) is middling at best and Deacon wrote a big mid 70s hit that everyone knows and sounds like radio fodder for the mid-70s. It is still a Top 5 Queen album, but not their actual best despite having their most iconic song on it. I would only place Queen II or Jazz above Moving Pictures. ReRushed
Don't like Queen at all, so.... How can you NOT like Queen?Queen can be very polarizing. I like Queen, but I understand why some would find them very annoying. Style over substance, maybe?

YYZumbi
Don't like Queen at all, so.... How can you NOT like Queen? I find them boring, nothing about their music excites me...reminds me of Dire Straits in that way! I don't like Queen either but they are far from boring. Very adventurous band musically. Not sure how you can hear a song like Bohemian Rhapsody and think they're boring. Annoying is how I've always described them. Freddy was a fantastic singer but something about the overall sound always bothered me. Who is Freddy? His name is Freddie!
Digital Dad
You asked the wrong Rush fan. Let's see...my favorite album by my favorite band with my favorite singer who wrote my favorite song plus three of my other favorite instrumentalists of all time ever forever...vs. my 2.5 fav Rush album which failed to impress me the first time I listened to it.... You guess what I picked. :P ABBA??

I'm not a fan so how would I know or even care what way his name is spelled. It's pronounced the same either way. I wasn't trying to be disrespectful towards him.
