The Analog Cub
Day two of 64 and I'm completely toast I'm at the point now where I just want ISU to win it all and don't care about the rest of the bracket.
laughedatbytime
One thing that annoys me about college basketball is how fast the refs call a jump ball.I miss the jump ball. My all-time favorite play of strategy. I'm glad they still had it when I played in HS. Nothing more fun than getting an easy bucket off a jump ball. MSU might have won today if it was still used. Judd Heathcoate then Tom Izzo were the kings of the set play off a jump ball.I guess I should have said "tie up" instead of jump ball.... I loved when a center and PG would have to jump :)Post #21112 : :dweez: :dweez: :dweez: :dweez: :dweez: :dweez: :dweez:

The Analog Cub
WVU also in the final four for me. I don't think I've ever made brackets that turned out to be this bad. Sparty, WVU, Baylor, this Madness is killing me. Let's go Cyclones...make it to the sweet 16 and I'll be happy. Beating UVA and making the elite eight for the first time since 2000 would be awesome. There probably is a yet undiscovered way to factor that in. What is impossible to factor in is the most neglected aspect of sports (and life in general) IMO. Randomness. The Analog Cub
The UNI-Texas game was absolutely nuts. Almost made up for WVU and Sparty killing my bracket. At this point I can take pride that all the Iowa teams made it through, even the Hawkeyes.
