Those can signal a serious condition (like retinal detachment or diabetic retinopathy), but mine are benign! Whew. Clean bill of health, and the peepers are still 20/20. I've worn glasses for almost 30 years, but some things are definitely different in the past year or so. Nothing like what you described, but just different, I don't know.
