x1yyz Posted August 2, 2015 Posted August 2, 2015 This is f***ing orgasmic. So close to getting on a plane today... :D If anything is better than sex, it's this concert. If you or anyone else finds a concert by anyone to be better than sex, you're either having bad sex, if there is such a thing, or are just out of your mind. No, the show was really that good. I felt like I was high (even though I was sober) and floating. Once the band was finished I couldn't really speak, I was at a loss for words and was just walking around with the biggest smile on my face. Thinking back on last night it feels like the time went by so quickly, and it seems almost like it was a dream. The most wonderful, amazing dream! 13

Tombstone Mountain Posted August 2, 2015 Posted August 2, 2015 Okay, here's a great photo of TRFers: http://i341.photobucket.com/albums/o371/x1yyz/Mobile%20Uploads/IMG_20150802_082643_01_zpsf22996f4.jpg L-R Rushman14, Tombstone Mountain (front), Greyfriar (back), x1yyz, Scott (way back), Robyn, Robertrobyn. great meeting all of you! and what a night! wrapped up 60 Rush shows starting with AFTK in '77. I got emotional a couple of times (Losing It!) but I spent the majority of the evening with an ear to ear grin just trying to soak it all in. Anything after this is gravy. Oh and Jonathan Dinklage was sitting a few seats down from me during the 2nd set. I gave him a thumbs up and he mouthed "thank you" :) Here is another shot of the TRF gang :haz: http://i493.photobucket.com/albums/rr300/Fatorgan/IMG_5343_zpsttpwipaj.jpgEnjoyed meeting you so very much. What a treat to meet Anita, and your best friend who was responsible for your music aspirations. Incredible moment. 3

Earthshine_sf Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 I'm still buzzing from the show. I was 25th row, Geddy's side. Sound was LOUD and crisp. Incredible excitement in the air. CTTH was an amazing moment. Almost everyone within the first 15 rows (floor and sides) held up LED "candles" and lighted "Starman" sticks. I recall Alex being taken a back by it. I teared up! Anyone know who arranged those fan lights and sticks? Also, at the end, one of the cameras showed some peeps in the front row holding up one word each, making the sentence "YOUR MUSIC CHANGED OUR LIVES FOREVER" It was incredible! 4

I don't know who exactly it was, but they were passed out to people who attended some of the pre-show parties recently. I know I was given one in Vegas (that I forgot on the table when I left!) and then another one in LA, fortunately., I held mine up during CTTH. It was a nice sight from my upper tank seats. :)

Xanadu Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 I'm still in awe of the whole night. The energy in that crowd was unreal. I am so glad I was able to be a part of it. Totally agree. Paid a small fortune for these last two weekends but wouldn't trade it. :) 5
