Best Rush Experience
Lots of front row over the years 7 out of 11 shows(it's hell or high water for me that 1st row).....but VT 2002—big banner in front row Geddy—the band liked it, Geddy threw ME a shirt and I freaked big!!! HUGE!!! Met Geddy and Alex two nights before I drove along with Neil to the Gorge 2011 (by fluke!),

R40 CD/DVD Packaging: Could the trays be any more awkward?

Oh well. Doesn't affect my enjoyment of the music and video. Negative Nancy is not in my circle of friends. Sort of shocked that now, Optimistic Olivia now has a "retired drummer" for a Dad; her/their needs are greater than ours; individually or collectively. Peart Family FTW. Besides, how can RUSH top Clockwork Angels and their next R40 tour? CA + R40 are their epic grapefruit/honeydew...I am both sated and satisfied. The Garden can grow from all of their seeds and crops and harvests, bountifully. I have come to terms with it, saying. No offense, either-- friends... We got lucky or, fortunate with Vapor Trails (and it's not all about Neil, or is it, but w/e). Two more increasingly EPIC albums S+A, CA and you cannot beat Headlong Flight, BU2B, The Garden. Why try? These guys are my ABSOLUTE favorite band ever, since 1983, and I can only applaud/thank/relish/enjoy/re-listen/re-listen/listen again to all of the (live) albums. ATWAS, ESL, ASOH and on, plus the numerous bootlegs I acquired in the '90s. Well, I only care to share how they've influenced me, and I think my happy gravy boat is full, or at least complete. Circa 1997: <Well what were our briefs and griefs then...hurry up Neil..?> NP's been thru hell and back, and back. My suggestion: Put Clockwork Angels on, all the way to The Garden, Philosophize? Hugs, guys...sorry for the rant... My sense upon seeing the Vancouver show this summer was that they are so done. But you know, R40 Anthem is on Blu-Ray right now...gotta run... -
Ya, more 'mistakes' than any other live release...oh well.... this is still as epic as it can be

I believe the mini-trainwreck for DEW was that the intro synth-effect didn't sound at the beginning and Alex sort of clipped out, not knowing the song had started...then Alex was mouthing around "Am I off?" A tech came up behind him and helped fix...he wasn't off, I think his in-ear monitor got unplugged from his rear waist/belt, but all the while he played and could be heard, just not by himself. Neil was yelling at Gump too Losing It got a massive applause....Geddy was just spot on, I didn't cringe once. -

Muddville=SLC Not that surprising to me, saddened -
Sorry, all I meant is that anyone's specific and/or unpermitting agenda sometimes frustrates me. I've drummed live enough times in bands to know that the heart and matter of playing new or old material lies by default. within the performers. Clockwork Angels is a bold, noble and appropriate opening route. Unlike before, but it should really be no surprise, RUSH etched their elbow-grease and pride of the newest material (as most band would...) to ROCK THIS MF concert. More to come, right? : D

I'll take it any/all, as long as there is "still no guitar"....living it all again...ooohhhh yaa!!

Good comment Scotts, I follow ya.

I could swear Neil's tshirt gun completely misfired the two shirts and they just put them away...? Am I wrong?
