J2112YYZ
I have never seen any of these films and have no interest in ever seeing them. The fact that they are continuing to make them isn't a surprise though. Financially, it has to be one of the most successful movie franchises ever.

invisible airwave
Are you really surprised? It already reached a billion dollars worldwide in less than a month. Universal would be foolish to not continue. AC/DC was right. Money talks. They have gotten better anyways since The Rock joined.

Disembodied Spirit
Vin Diesel is the Steve Guttenberg of the 21st Century. Under 30- Google - Steve Guttenberg since he has not made a film in 20 years

invisible airwave
Maybe the next several films will have Freddy and Jason in them.....we can only hope! Chucky is more likely since it's Universal property while Freddy is at New Line and Jason is apparently headed back to Paramount.

Segue Myles
mindless fun. Nothing wrong with them with the lads over, a few beers and low standards. I save the more complex stuff for my alone time (I say this a day after watching X Men).

USB Connector
Complaining about the fast and furious movies to have more than fast cars doing over the top things is like going to a Michael Bay movie and complaining that there was nothing more than some context for 1 hour + of explosions. I haven't seen the last few movies but I have enjoyed the ones I did see. I'm hoping Vin takes that money and uses it to fund some more Riddick. I loved the last one. Alchemical
Why is anyone surprised? Furious 7 made a billion and a half dollars.
workingcinderellaman
Financially, it has to be one of the most successful movie franchises ever. And one would have to be nuts not to make another one.;) They didn't kill Paul Walker's character (Brian O'Connor) off but he won't be back. The way they ended 7 was nice and bringing that character back wouldn't be a good idea. The only movie that didn't have Walker in it was Tokyo Drift which was the worst one of the franchise so I don't know how they're going to do 8.
