Fridge
Hemispheres, it's not even close, though Presto is half a very good album, just too much filler. Hemispheres on the other hand is absolutely captivating and riveting from start to finish.

MMCXII
"Hemispheres vs Presto: the final battle". Is this really being fair to Presto? If I was Presto I'd fake an injury to get out of this match..
Segue Myles
Presto is better than Hems. Recent listenings confirm this. Nothing wrong with Hems. Faultless. But Presto's high points are the everest to Hems hill in holland.

The Analog Cub
After ~25 posts of him freaking out about Ebola in SOCN and getting pissy when other people aren't sharing his concerns, and his Spaghetti-worship were enough for me. Anyway, this is a top 3 album vs. a bottom 3 album. Hemispheres 4 lyfe.

Detonator
Presto is my favorite Rush studio album by far. Absolute perfection from Show Don't Tell to Available Light. I like Hemispheres a lot too.. but no contest here.

Segue Myles
Hemispheres wins! Anyone with ears knows that. Except Segue's conflicted ears. Mick Its great but I never feel compelled to play it. That is what confuses me. When I play it, I love it so much. Then I put it away. But as for Presto, I can play it on repeat all day and it still isn't enough. I WANT MORE OF IT! So whilst Hemispheres is the better album, Presto is the more enjoyable. One is like The Citizen Kane, the other Who Framed Roger Rabbit. Now, technically one is a masterpiece, the other simply ultra enjoyable fluff. I am drawn to the fluffy. Let me have it!
