Well, Permanent Waves and Caress of Steel are my favorites. I think that's the line that most people are voting along.

 

I voted Moving Pictures as their best album, simply because it is. They were at the top of their game making that one. They struck a perfect balance of over the top musicianship packaged into well-crafted, accessible songs. It's perfectly produced. Every instrument shines yet maintains a sonic balance throughout. And Geddy's voice is spot on. Top this all off with perfect cover and sleeve art.

Gees,

 

It's only music. I am so glad I was born to enjoy what ever song, album at any givin' time. I am moody when it comes to music.It can change at any time. I can never settle on who, what are the best at any thing regardless if it is music, sports,art, food, ect. We all have our likes and dislikes in life. Thats what makes us all unique in our own special way. Most of it is because of the time we were born. Anyway, I am off to work.

My life is a soundtrack were i am the musical director. I got many more things than Rush.

Has anyone admitted to voting for it?

 

I did a couple pages ago.

 

I said I'd refrain from voting on this poll because I have a hard time calling a single album their "best" album, and I distinguish that differently than my "favorite" album. Narp goaded me to vote for Counterparts anyway, so I did it :D

Of course, the key word there is "favourite," not "best."

Since we are wondering about things and stuff, I wonder if Rush would do it all over again if they could? Given, of course, all they know now and all they have been through the past forty years. I wonder if they think it was all worth it. Edited by Lorraine
