One Little Victory is a masterpiece. The rest of Vapor Trails, not so much. The songs are pretty good but the album has the wrong approach. It could have been a great album but sadly it just isn't.

that half-time Bonham-like stomp Neil lays down while Alex and Geddy are beating the crap out of their guitars in the background is probably one of the most infectious and powerful things they've ever done

 

there's hardly a mis-step on the entire record (production excepted)

The Secrect Touch is an awesome jam. But, If this was a remastered thing, I think it would be absolutly amazing. The production overall was good, because the mix was nice. But that distortion makes it almost unlistenable at points, mostly at the quiet parts for some odd reason, I though distortion starts to act up at louder levels. But, I don't know, but Earthshine might be a close second, same with One little Victory.
