FountainOfSyrinx Posted September 10, 2012 Posted September 10, 2012 Because it's f***ing fantastic. All the non-haters, this is the circlejerk thread. Let's go.
LeaveMyThingAlone Posted September 10, 2012 Posted September 10, 2012 This thread will disappear into oblivion because it is positive. How DARE you start a positive thread! This is The Rush Forum, dammit!

The Cat 3 Posted September 10, 2012 Posted September 10, 2012 I think I like this set list because it is so unexpected. OK, I expected much of CA to be played. But who would have guessed the rest? I have been a fan since A Farewell to Kings and am just happy to see them live. Call me a fanboi, but I don't really care what they play, I just love seeing them live. Not too mention, like most bands that I have grown up and old with, I am just happy that they are still around, making relevent music and still touring. As long as they continue doing so, I will continue to plunk down my hard earned dough to see them.
kentpilot Posted September 10, 2012 Posted September 10, 2012 Middletown Dreams is the best Rush song period so I'm so f*ckin stoked to see it, I'll be at the Buffalo and Cleveland show just so I can be sure to see it.
Mr. Not Posted September 10, 2012 Posted September 10, 2012 I really like how they left out BU2B and included some great ones from GUP, Pow, Sig, HYF... Erm... The synth era. Hold the RTB shit of course (oops, some negativity slipped in. My bad, LOL). Going to make for a great bootleg listen since I won't be spending my money due to financial priorities

Snaked Posted September 10, 2012 Posted September 10, 2012 I love it because it was so totally unexpected and takes a TON of balls to pull it off. 17 songs that have either never been played or havent been played in 19 years takes some chutzpah! f***ing fantastic!

That's why I'm hoping Minneapolis gets set A. Body Electric ( >> Middletown ) and Manhattan Project. Love Dreamline but I've seen that scene before. Plus I'd rather not get caught in the ensuing riot when the Set B crowd realizes they didn't play TSOR

Gedneil Alpeart Posted September 10, 2012 Posted September 10, 2012 The heavy 80s focus surprised me, but looking back, I really enjoyed the show and hearing songs live I haven't heard in AGES! Would have preferred a greater career spread of their material. I TOTALLY loved the CA songs live!! KICKED MAJOR A^^!
