I was telling my nephew about Flava Flav was rumored to

be at the rehearsals of the up coming tour.

My nephew says "isn't he the dude who wears the clocks

around his neck, he's going to be on stage".

"He wears clocks and it's called Clockwork Angels Tour!"

It does make since.

Doesn't it??

This must mean they're going to play Roll The Bones and Flavor Flav will sing the rap section.

I would rather they used Chuck D for that part. He has better flow than Flav does laugh.gif

So HE'S the Watchmaker...

I know I read in one of those GRINDER BLADE NEWS things

that Flav was there with his posse.

For what who knows. From what I've read so far he

would fit in with dwarfs being shot out of cannons and kids

frolicking around with cotton candy in there hands.

And flying monkeys from the wizard of oz.

Boy oh boy what are we in for!!!??? wtf.gif

No joke. The stage will be filled with RUSH and god

only knows what else. Maybe not flying monkeys but

other forms of the lowest scum of the earth.

As soon as I saw Flava flav all I could see in my head was a video on the big screen with a fake flava of love episode where Lerxst revises his drag getup from the trailer park boys movie haha. z7shysterical.gif wtf.gif

The Yukon Blade Grinder? People actually read that rag? Poorly written, unimaginative, and excellent for lining bird cages.

Personally, I'd love to see flava flav. He's become a charicature nowadays, but once upon a time Public Enemy was one of the few rap groups that was any good. It worked pretty well when Anthrax covered "Bring The Noise." (or was it Noize?), and I saw that show live--it was really great, believe it or not. Both groups were at their peak at the time.

I'll add this--the "rap" section of RTB is the most lily white-sounding excuse for a rap I think I've ever heard, and would probably sound a million times cooler w/flav doing it. And I really like the rest of the song a lot--that part just makes me cringe every time, though.

And I think flav would be fantastic in a video clip. He's hysterical. A laugh-riot, even.

Like y'all was saying I thought to my self, it would be a laugh riot to see Flav on screen or even Live on

the same stage as the boys themselves. When I started this topic I was really interested in finding out

what others thought about the idea of ANYBODY being on the stage besides THE THREE STOOGES??

So many fans you hear from are pissed to find out that even a orchestra on tour with RUSH is TOO FAR

The wife and I have followed them since GRACE UNDER PRESSURE TOUR and have enjoyed all the different changes in there music throughout the years.

So I'm sure we can and will enjoy the show. We have tixs for Atlanta, Universal City and Houston.

See y'all at the show!!

I think YBG lost credibility when Rolling Stone scooped them.

Rolling Stone Tour leak

I'd really think twice about trusting those YBG guys (though I'm secretly really looking forward to the next installment) and definitely trust Rolling Stone. They have a clue. eyesre4.gif

YBG is run by a bunch of pirates. 1287.gif yar....

I don't take it seriously, but I still stand by what I said.

They did have Jack Black onstage at one of the R30 shows.

You do realize that the article saying that Flava Flav was involved with the Rush tour was made up and is totally fictional?

So you're saying the stage will look like The Cantina at the Mos Eisley Space port?

Does anyone know if these guys are opening up?

Whaaaa??? Fake? Did you know there is also a TV interview from PBS, The Tavis Smiley Show, where Flav talks about how Rolex reached out to create the Clockwork Angels watchmaker commerative clock? Flav has a deep relationship with Neil...met him at the international Scrabble Tournament in 1990...
