I'm here to say in one sense Headlong Flight is the greatest Rush song of them all. No, it's not Moving Pictures. It's not Free Will or Xanadu. There's something about the aforementioned that is totally untouchable. This is them at their creative peak, and in my opinion, no artist will ever top Hemispheres through Power Windows. Not even Rush. Headlong Flight is also untouchable, but in a completely different respect. All that is Rush has led to this song. These are the same guys who wrote all that other stuff. All that other stuff. You gotta think about the big picture of Rush. There's something deep in the heart of Rush that has been growing this whole time. Growing and growing. There's one constant element in Rush that has been improving, refining, defining itself. So what is the element? Look deep within yourself to find the answer. I'll give you a clue.
