I really would've preferred that they photographed this "clock" with actual physical props. Maybe with some more steampunkish gears. This is just too fakey looking and I believe the primary original purpose for the design of this image was to be for animated videos rather than an album cover. Choosing it for the album cover was probably a last minute decision, especially considering the detailed hand-crafted feel of the other images.

2. Effects > Adjust > Brightness/Contrast/Intensity

3. Effects > Replace Colors (in this case, red) adjust hue/saturation/lightness

5. Bitmaps > Distort > Swirl > Counterclockwise (Whole Rotation: 0 | Additional Degrees: 90... exaggerated to show the technique)

I honestly think its better than Snakes and Arrows, but still disappointing. The other images that they have presented on Rush.com are cooler than this cover. Still hope its not the real one!
