Daft as fuuck...but good!

It's surreal to see Jason Alexander with a full head of hair playing a high school kid, but looking and sounding just like George from Seinfeld!

Madeleine Stowe is my fantasy wife! :sundog:

COMMANDO with the one and only AHNULD with my daughter. She's 11 and we've been going through a lot of his movies lately. I have The Running Man coming in the mail later today, can't wait!

Dude I love Shanghai Noon! Shanghai Knights was terrible, but the 1st one's a comedy classic.

Owen Wilson is at the top of his game here.

Yeah I don't normally like Wilson but he was pretty good in this and teamed up nicely with Jackie Chan.

Interesting trivia, Burning is the first Weinstein/Miramax production. Gotta start somewhere. I think that was Holly Hunter's debut as well.

Yeah I noticed Holly, but she only had a very small part. I noticed a couple of other familiar faces too, looking way younger.

It's weird that a film like that was Miramax's feature debut, nowadays they're everywhere. In fact the film I watched after it, Imposters is a Miramax film too.

Not really movies, but at 90 minutes runtime they can run as long as a movie. Currently watching the BBC version of Sherlock with Cumberbatch and Freeman. Cumberbatch is mesmerizing.

Astoundingly good! The casting and writing are terrific and very true to the original stories. It makes the U.S. interpretation (Elementary) seem, well, elementary. I'm watching borrowed copies, but I will be buying this series. 5 star!

Ruther takes on Venom eh

Yeah it's a blatent rip-off of Venom! It's a way better Venom than the one in Spider-man 3 though.

This is a pretty weird film but you get Rutger, Kim Cattrall before she became annoying and I think it's the only time you get the "Brit brothers" Alun Armstrong and Pete Postlethwaite together in the same film and both playing angry coppers who hate Rutger Hauer!

Mega Piranha (SyFy Channel)

I lasted about 10 minutes and had to turn it off. The WORST acting, dialogue and special effects I have ever experienced.

For a Few Dollars More.

The Good, The Bad and The Ugly came on right afterwards but I couldn't stay up until 3 a.m.

I should have though.

UGLY is the best western ever! :cosmo:

yeah, probably. Though, For a Few Dollars More and Outlaw Josey Wales are up there too!

Some may disagree but this is better than the original. Great performance by Jackie Chan. Now that he is retiring from "Martial Arts" movies I hope that we can see more of these great performances. He is a very good actor although that's sometimes hidden in his comedy/martial arts/stuntwork/
