Lost In Translation. I don't know what it is, I just find this movie so intriguing. The ending leaves me wanting more and i hate that so much! haha

Would love to see a sequel. would love to see more of those pale pink undies. :ebert:

Though not in 3D... Got the wrong pic!

Apart from finding it a little ponderous in places, I enjoyed it. Brett, who used to read the comics says its quite accurate to the story.

Pitch Perfect

Funny one liners even if I'm not into that whole Glee and top 40 thing. Look the word "cute" or "adorable" in the dictionary regarding looks and you'll see a picture of Anna Kendrick

Frankenweenie

Not as great Tim Burton of yore but way better than the crap he's done lately. Also, nice to see Winona Ryder working with him again even if it's just a voice over role or that recent music video he directed for Here With Me by The Killers.

I've been meaning to get back into horror movies for a while, after being totally dissatisfied with the current "torture porn" trend.

This one is certainly high quality, but it's not THAT much horrorific. It's more like that old Cronenberg's movie about the surgeons twins. Even in this one there's a surgeon and there are twins (who are the directors, too). All in all, is another take on the "lady vengeance" topic. Worth watching. The leading lady is beyond hot.

I usually don't watch slasher films but sleepaway camp 2 was on Chiller last night and I was flipping by.

did not watch entire thing, but what I saw was pretty pointless and disgusting, really.

as long as people keep watching, they'll keep making useless crap.

Saw A Clockwork Orange for the millionth time the other day. I re-realized this trivia: Julian (the musclebound bodyguard of the wheelchair-bound writer Mr.Alexander) was played by David Prowse...better known as the dude in the Darth Vader suit for the original 3. Anyway, it's still one of my favorite movies of all time from my favorite director of all time.

Sinister

Nice to see an thinking adult's R rated horror movie with good story telling and character development instead of a "kill scene every several minutes" movie with no story that dumbs itself down to teens. The ending was sooooo predictible, though.

End Of Watch

Another L.A. crime classic in the tradition of L.A. Confidential, Heat and To Live And Die In L.A.. Love the neo realism and faux documentary style of some scenes.
