Wordy_McWordword
August 23, 2010 Charter One Pavilion I almost didn't see them this time around. I had bought tickets to see Eric Johnson, Andy McKee, and Peppino D' Agostino the night before I had bought the Rush tickets. My dad had asked where I bought the EJ tickets and then told me that Rush had rescheduled their second show in Chicago because of rain. I figured that it would be sold out due to the fact that the folks who had tickets for the 7/7 show would be honored at the new date. So for the hell of it I checked TicketBastard and sure enough, found two seats at the back of the venue and snagged them up. $50 a piece. Great show, great venue, even better band! I'm hoping to catch them at the United Center 4/

Same set list as the Anaheim June 16 bootleg more or less (for those not familiar with that, then just go with Exit Stage Left album and video combination with a few more thrown in like Hemispheres:Armaggeddon, Vital Signs, Natural Science, and the 2112 Overture/Temples intro to the show. Harvey, Corky & Tice present RUSH!!! Remember when the tickets named the local producers, once upon a time they didn't all say "Ticketbastard" Oh yes... those were the days! I think our tickets for the Moving Pictures show were around $10. I looked at the stub to see how much this show was, but the price was at the end of the stub that was ripped off. This was before the bar codes and they ripped the end off the ticket when you went in the venue. The Aud was a hockey venue and I do remember that our seats were way up high in the top level. The boys were so far away they looked like little barbie dolls, but it was LOUD!

burgeranacoke
Hello Rush forum-ites, I have been lurking here a while and really appreciate the site. Thought this might be a good place to start with first post so... first concert : October 25, 1975 Civic Center Amarillo, Texas with Ted Nugent. Memory is a bit foggy but I think Nugent opened the show, my friends were really exited to see him, me not so much, I had already been listening to Caress of Steel . I think this posted set list is very close Bastille Day Anthem Lakeside Park The Necromancer By-Tor & The Snow Dog Working Man Drum Solo In The Mood Tickets were around $7, no seating on the floor so we were up front. I understand this is now referred to as the "down the tubes" tour but I thought they were the most amazing band I had ever seen. I was in a lucky place to see them because over the next 2 years I saw them four more times, and have seen them at least twice a decade since then.
