snowdogged Posted September 30, 2010 Posted September 30, 2010 I just think that is soooooooo Coooooool!!!! Rush will live on forever!
GeddysMullet Posted September 30, 2010 Posted September 30, 2010 Hooray for a new generation of fans!
J2112YYZ Posted September 30, 2010 Posted September 30, 2010 My nephew, who isn't on this board, is 18 and I always encouraged him to listen to music, with Rush being one of the main bands I pushed on him. He's been a huge for since he's been 10. If most parents, aunts, uncles and whatever are doing that then hopefully Rush will always have a newer generation getting into them. Their longevity also helps with getting younger people intrested. Once they see the body of work they've got it peaks people's curiosity as well. Long Live
x_analog_kid_x Posted September 30, 2010 Posted September 30, 2010 Just turned 16! I tend to see quite a few teens on here too. It's kinda weird. In a good way

tkdryan Posted September 30, 2010 Posted September 30, 2010 When i went to the Dallas concert, i noticed alot of young fans. One of my students was at the concert too with his dad. he is 12. Another one of my students uses YYZ as his entrance song for his Bo staff competition form. Fun stuff
Ted Barchetta Posted September 30, 2010 Posted September 30, 2010 Rush fan since 2008. I was 15 when I first heard Xanadu. Never looked back.
briremo Posted September 30, 2010 Posted September 30, 2010 My 14 yr old son, who's going to the WPB show is slowly getting into the boys. His friend, who plays bass (very well), spent the night last weekend and while I was on the couch watching ESL came in during Bytor &TSD which he'd never heard, and was floored with Neil and Alex and he was like "Who ARE these guys!, Holy crap that guitar player is ripping" I told him it was RUSH and he was like "Neil Peart ROCKS! I gotta get this" He said all he really knew was Limelight and YYZ and TS from rockband etc. He is a confirmed fan now!
snowdogged Posted September 30, 2010 Author Posted September 30, 2010 QUOTE (Alex @ Sep 29 2010, 08:42 PM) I'm 4. Then you are not allowed to post in this thread for another nine years!

Synth Sense Posted September 30, 2010 Posted September 30, 2010 I'm 19 (I guess that still counts, right? ). Been listening to them for over a year now, and boy has it been a wonderful year and few months. When I do end up having a son or daughter someday, I'd hope that he or she ends up liking Rush just as much as I do!
Test4Eggo Posted September 30, 2010 Posted September 30, 2010 Just saw the Atlanta show last night as part of my 18th birthday present. (the first time I've seen them!). 5 more days until I'm 18. And it was awesome!!!
