I really wish I would have dreams that involved Rush that weren't horrible and creepy. I had one the other night where Geddy was a homicidal maniac who killed (and kinda ate) my cat. The gory image has not left my mind since. I really need to stop eating weird stuff before I go to sleep...

2112. I have an enormous random music collection on my hard drive, and that album just happened to be on it. I only went to find it because one of my musical idols at the time said in an interview that he was interested in Rush and I figured they couldn't be that bad. I now own all their albums and I've been completely addicted to everything and anything Rush for about 2 1/2 years now.

There's nothing like a Rush concert to rekindle my lust for Geddy... And this thread helps quite a bit too! I cant wait until the pictures from the SD show come out lol.

When you insist on playing War with your RUSH Playing Cards, and after seeing the pictures so many times, you [and your mom] start giving them "proper" names. [she started referring to all the aces as "Pretty Boy."]

I've gotten a few reactions- two in the same day for my Permanent Waves tee at the mall. One guy said "Nice shirt!" and a girl nearly grabbed me as she was walking by with her very confused boyfriend. He didn't seem to get it, but she was all smiles. Plus the group of kids [at school] who constantly ask why there's a "satan-worshiping naked guy" painted on my shoes. I'm getting tired of explaining the symbolism. That's about the extent, though.

The closest I got to having a Rush dream last night was when my friend Jesse kept talking to me about the "only seats we could afford" for the Rush show were ones in "Section 800." Which makes absolutely no sense, considering I'm not paying for tickets this year, and there IS no such thing as Section 800 in the venue we're going to.

When you join a thread of people talking about "the end of the world" in 2012, and you cant help but tell them that it's impossible, because of the story of what is to happen in 2112. [i seem to be reviving this thread with this!] I had a dream the other night that I was a ghost, after being killed in my burning bedroom, and for whatever reason, I was haunting Neil's [enormous] house. He didn't really seem to mind, though, considering he never asked me to leave. Whenever someone knocked on his door, I would answer it and scare them away. I think the strangest thing, however, was that every time Neil spoke, he had a British accent. That last part was probably due to my watching 8 episodes of a British show [Misfits] earlier that night...Oh well.
