Yyrkoon
Unfortunately, a large amount of my record collection outside of the hard rock/heavy metal genre is compilations, therefore my response will be limited, but here goes: Van Halen - I, II, Women and Children First, Fair Warning Rush - Permanent Waves, Moving Pictures, Signals Iron Maiden - Powerslave Metallica - Master of Puppets Alice in Chains - Dirt The Beatles - Revolver Queensyche - Operation Mindcrime Black Sabbath - Heaven and Hell Boston - Boston Led Zeppelin - IV (so obvious I know), Physical Grafitti Guns N Roses - Appetite for Destruction Huey Lewis - Sport (I know - total pop - but I think there isn't a bad song on there) Jimmy Buffett - A White Sport Coat and a Pink Crustacean John Cougar Mellencamp - Scarecrow Megadeth - Peace Sells...But Who's Buying? Ozzy Osbourne - Blizzard of Oz Pearl Jam - Ten  About all I can think of!

Tony R
I know that Rushgoober set the parameters but surely a "perfect" album would have to contain tracks that were all very good and no duds. Most albums contain duds, especially these days. I suppose you then get bogged down on the definition of "good". I guess the only album I own that I would consider "perfect" is Yes' "Close To The Edge". Three great tracks, no filler. The only Rush albums that come close to the "perfect" level are Moving Pictures (Vital Signs, meh), A Farewell To Kings (Madrigal, bah!), Hemispheres (Circumstances is only "ok") and Permanent Waves (Entre Nous and Different Strings are good but not great.) LZ IV, Purple's Machine Head and Misplaced Childhood (Marillion) are close as is Sloe Gin (Joe but again are flawed in places.

I love the Decemberists and would rate Her Majesty and Picaresque as near perfect, but this one to me was not. It's the only album I've heard by them (until I listen to their new one, that is). It pretty much clicked the first time I listened to it, and I've been hooked since then. If their other stuff turns out to be better than Hazards, then I can't wait to hear it. I just have a feeling that Hazards will probably remain my favorite album due to a mix of sentimental feelings and to the material itself being rather excellent.
