My wife found this 1993 Mazda Miata on the internet. We flew from Nashville to Tampa, Florida to check it out. The engine was so clean you could eat off it. It's twenty years old and it runs like a dream. We drove it to Panama City Beach and stopped for the night. I was so happy I got drunk and had a flashback to my Navy days. Photo taken in some kind of weird sex/head shop that I barely remember going into. I'm just glad we didn't wake up with any strange new toys in the bed (just the usual ones).

All I can say is thank God there are also pictures of AlsGalPal on the same page or I'd have to leave this forum forever.

And this coming from a man whose favourite singer is some guy named Alice.

Yikes!

Classic Italy tour, eh? Which was the place you enjoyed more?

Your post reminded me that I have one of my Italy pics in my sig (bottom right pic). It was taken at the Cinque Terre as I was hiking towards Vernazza. Great times

Eh eh, I spotted that years ago, Johnny-san! No photo of Italy can escape my ever-seeing eye!!

One of the best places on Earth. Unfortunately it suffered terribly from some terrible landslides a couple years ago. Haven't been there since.

At the Ottawa Bluesfest on July 8, my spouse, my Dad and me :)

Dad liked the show, but said this crazy chick next to him in the red Rush shirt was rocking out and singing along all night :D

I think that is so cool! http://www.thescifiworld.net/img/smilies/galactica/cylon/cylon002.gif I saw a shirt in Ottawa that had "World Tour" on it and listed all of the different countries. I may get one of those from the Backstage Club.

:hi:

This is a fantastic picture...what a grand day for you CG!!! Did your Dad airdrum? Just curious as it seems to be an innate male response for any who attend a Rush concert

Ah man, that's depressing!! And I just read that it happened in 2011 and the entire village/town had to be evacuated. I went there in 2006....hiked through all 5 main villages from sunrise to sunset and stopped in each one for wine, gelato, or whatever fresh seafood I could sink my fangs into.

goose, nice pics of you and your daughter in faraway places!

 Asia is next on my list.

Do it! Where in Asia?

I've always wanted to go to Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand. Korea too.

Assisi is so beautiful, and Rome is full of so much history. I love Florence, too. I stopped at Orvieto, which I loved as well. I love Italy, in general, and the whole European lifestyle.

Nice pics, Goose! I went to Italy last year, and had a great time. Venice, Rome and parts of Tuscany.

 A beautiful part of the world! I remember you talking about your trip.

Congrats on the car, Dr. I had a Miata a few years back and loved it.

I bet you can't tell which one is me.

 Which reminds me of my flight over to Spain. The first round of drinks were coming by and I noticed the flight attendant had a RUSH lanyard. I asked him if he was an fan and said yeah, long-time. He had just caught the band back-to-back on a layover.

A lot of his buildings are around Spain. His style was very organic - inspired by forms found in nature.

I'll put that on my list for my next visit to Italy.

They are anticipating his Sagrada Familia to be done in 2026, the 100th anniversary of his death. We'll see. The white part is newly completed. They have lots of towers yet to add, one measuring 170 meters, apparently. http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2011/sep/22/sagrada-familia-final-completion-date

Awesome Goose. Your daughter will have memories for life. Looks like you visited a few countries. Did you drive?

Ah yeah, great places. Been to Vietnam and Korea 3 times each, Thailand twice, and Cambodia once. Angkor Wat is probably the most impressive site I've visited that NOBODY ever seems to mention. So much tasty food in all of those places it's crazy
