Me and my daughter on her graduation day.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v619/reedlover/20130716_101056-1_zps2a858922.jpg

Good pic!

Your daughter is pretty!

Pretty and obviously smart! Dang, Tony, you must be really proud!!!!

You look like a proud papa and she is beautiful, but I can't take my eyes off the background. Where did she go to school? Medieval France or something? Gorgeous.

It's Bangor, Gwynned in Wales.

It is a great picture...you look so proud and your daughter looks so happy...who could ask for more.

I made a joke about how Peter Sellers used to call Alice "Maurice Escargot" because of the "Lace and Whiskey" photo of Alice I had with me.

http://i1224.photobucket.com/albums/ee378/ReGorLaTroy/AliceasMauriceEsgargot_zpsc035bdc7.jpg

Alice pointed his finger at me and said, "Stephen, how on Earth did you know that?!"

http://i1224.photobucket.com/albums/ee378/ReGorLaTroy/MeandAlice2_zpsf84db257.jpg

So, I said (jokingly), "Don't you point your finger at me!"

Alice's assistant caught the moment.

That makes it even cooler! :ebert:

...but now I've got to ask, how did you know about that? :smoke:

Chalk it up to misspent youth, just one of those worthless pieces of trivia you pick up along the way.

Found this online...

Alice Cooper and late actor Peter Sellers were very close friends. The 59-year-old shock-rock musician, known for his stage performances with a boa constrictor around his neck, says that he had a lot in common with Sellers.

"Peter Sellers saw the absurdity in Alice Cooper. And I was a big fan of his, so when he came to one of my shows it was a very big deal. It was like being in the presence of royalty. When I met Peter, it was as if we had been friends all our lives. He was my soul brother. We hit it off immediately," the Daily Express quoted him as saying.

Alice also revealed that Sellers had given him and his wife a nickname each.

"Of course, I loved the Inspector Clouseau character. He nicknamed me Maurice Escargot and my wife Sheryl was Nicole Escargot," he said.

"Peter would often phone me up in the character of Clouseau. He'd say, 'Allo? Is zis Escargot? Clouseau here. I'll pick you up at 7.14'. I'd say, '7.14?' He'd reply, 'Oui. I'm on a case. I haven't a minute to lose,'" he added.

Indeed, it was my birthday too.

Days like these, the memory lasts forever...

My and Alice after his show in NYC this past Thursday...

Those are fantastic photos, RGLT! I love the sense of humour that comes though in them. :D

That's wonderful you had such a great interaction with someone you respect so much and whose music you love. I'm really happy for you, that must have been an awesome night! :)

Thanks for sharing your photos! :hug2:

It's almost like you know all these guys really well. Most people who have their picture taken with rock stars look tense or awkward in the shots but not you mate, it's like you're meeting up with your old pals! :hail:

^^ all the guys in Cheap Trick make you feel like they've known you for years and are really funny and playful. One of those bands that can relax any awkward fan!

So true.

They are all very down to earth.

Spoke with Tom, at length, about our mutual love for The Beatles.

Rick has such a sharp sense if humour.

Have a great time at your show in August.

They just get better and better.

I'm driving out to Pittsburgh to visit my family. And will be seeing them with my sister on the 21st.

awesome!!! :P

Bun E and I talked for a good 10 minutes about our love for Chuck Berry ("You're FIFTEEN and you love him?!" haha), Rick told wacky stories and insisted I was holding my shirt out wrong for him to sign. He finally said "Like THIS, honey!" and stretched my sleeve out lmao.

Robin and Tom, I've met before/after shows while they were still on stage. Being in the front row, I was still able to actually talk to their faces lol. Robin's sang to me, Rick has talked to me over the microphone.

One time in between songs he read my sign out loud and said "Heyyy it's you again! This girl is always at our shows! Have a pick!" and tossed me one. Right as I bent down to pick it up he said "I want a piece of you...uh....is that your dad??" LOL!!! My dad was laughing too hard and I turned beet red hahaha.

but omg. Tom is my favourite member. One time after a show, I took a chance and yelled out his name. I made a bracelet and wrote a small note for him and was hoping to give them to him. HE TURNED AROUND AND WALKED RIGHT OVER TO ME. His face was inches from mine and his smile made me melt- I was 16 at the time and was fangirling like mad haha.

He loved the bracelet and I asked him for his pick. He said "Oh? You want this?? Give me a good reason" and winked. I flat out begged him. He said "ehhh....for you, okay" and flicked it at me!! He laughed so hard because I slammed my arm on top of the pick on the barricade in case anyone made a grab for it, and started bouncing up and down lmao.

The next time I saw them was a week later, front row again. He saw me, gave a pick to a security guard and said very loudly "Give this to her. Right there. She deserves it." and pointed right at me. I was in tears lol.

I have a bootleg of one of the shows Rick talked to me on the microphone ;)

OH, also, one time Rick was helping with the merchandise table! Talk about a mild heart attack going up to simply buy a shirt lol.

Alice is the man. I met him twice, 18 years apart and he remembered me. When he found out I was from Nashville and knew the Cash family he started hitting me up for info. He's very approachable and way cool.

Edit: He's also friggin' brilliant. Smart guy.

^^ awwwww, no perviness lol I understand ;)

my dad told me I'll always be his princess even when I'm 90- one of those things. Even when they're older you see them as your baby <3

She drank out of a water bottle without spilling a single drop the other day, and I got teary eyed. Teary eyed from a water bottle!! LOL. I'll be a wreck her first day of school- love her independence, but it still gets me.

Seems Apollo and I have the same tour shirt. His is faded like mine. I'm disappointed at such poor quality.
