Can't see any of the pictures. Just have to remind everyone that I'm not purposely ignoring your great looks! :)

Wait a minute, didn't you see those pictures of me last week? How did you manage that?

You must store your pictures in a different place. Anything that is stored at Photobucket, I can't see. Maybe other places too, but I know Photobucket for sure.

Aha. :D-13:

Hey, RGLT...wasn't it you who posted photos from the actual Night of the Living Dead graveyard, a few years back?

I've tried to find them again, but needle/haystack

Another cool pic!

Interesting that they used real gravestones and not some kind of mock-up.

Not that interesting really. It was for budgetary reasons as it was an independent film.

Here's the real interesting bit:

Back when "Night of..." was released, there was no ratings system. It was shown as one of those regular Saturday matinee deals were...like those classic monster movies that weren't actually scary even in those days. Sooo little kids went to see it because they didn't know what they actually were going to see. Parents didn't know either. Needless to say, adolescents and younger kids that went shit themselves with terror! They thought they were getting Frankenstein vs The Wolfman and they got that!!! Romero used to be so good! :blaze:

In short, great pic of a very important movie history location ReGor!!! :hail:

Best pic ever.

It's a toss-up between this photo and the pic of Alex wearing the sofa cushions for best pic ever!

That's a great one too!

I think I like this one more though...regular folks rarely get the chance to strike poses of this nature with rock icons. :)

It really was made on a limited budget; it was Romero's first feature length film. A good friend's dad played a bit part in it for fun (and for free); he used to joke that he wished he had asked for a percentage! :D It was made not all that far up the road from where I grew up :) It took Evans City a long time to catch on to the fact that NOTLD was a classic but they now have a Living Dead festival every October and a year round little museum with props from the movie that sells t shirts and stuff.

Where did you live when you were there? I used to live in Seven Fields (next to Cranberry Township).

You were pretty close to Evans City then! I grew up near North Park. Our school district actually went all the way to the Butler county line. It was awhile ago :codger: , hard to believe now, but there was really nothing but farms (and a cool drive in theater) between Warrendale and Zelienople. It's amazing what Cranberry looks like now when I go back.

I finally got organized enough to put up a few photos of my son's recent wedding :) Lorraine, I couldn't figure out how to do it without photobucket, so let me know if you can't see them and I will ask x1yyz or Sheldon what I am doing wrong w/out photobucket.

Here are a few more; the table runner was something I helped embroider (constellations!), and the last one is my sisters and myself (I am the one on the far right :) )

:) Good news!!! I can see them on IE! :)

Your son and his bride are a handsome couple, Chica! I sincerely wish the best for their life together.

Your "labor of love" came out lovely! And those cheesecakes are making me hungry!

You'd laugh if you could hear me looking at the pictures. All you would hear me saying is "Awwww!"

I'm so glad you can see them! I wish I had one that showed the bride's dress better, It was really pretty. And you are right, though, the cheesecakes were delicious!

We had to laugh, my son's best friend (friends since they were four!) now has a two year old son. They grow blueberries and the toddler LOVES to pick and eat them. While everyone else was at the taco bar, little one noticed the blackberries on the one cheesecake and got so excited- "Berry! Berry!" His dad looked at me (and made sure no one from the bride's family was around :D) and said, "There's only one way this is gonna end well" and took two blackberries off the cheesecake top for toddler before I could blink. I laughed so hard. Not good to do all the time I suppose but toddler was an angel for the next 3 hours! :)
