I recently did a photo shoot with a friend. As we were finishing, her husband came home on his motorcycle so I sat on it for a few shots. (Note that I do ride motorcycles, although usually not while wearing heels and fishnets :D , so this isn't just one of those silly "girl on bike for no apparent reason" shots.)

Seeing the pics of RGLT and Alice Cooper made me think of posting this one - I think I posted it a while ago in a celebrity thread, but here it is again:

 

ok, about 9 years ago, my sis and I went to a film and music memorabilia convention - they have 'em here in NJ twice a year, and it's always fun as you can buy all sorts of memorabilia and meet tons of celebrities and not-so-famous people ..

 

Anyways, I began talking with a woman who was milling around the crowd - she had a great British accent and seemed very approachable, but I had no idea who she was ... My sis then came over, and the woman said "How about we all take a photo together ?"

 

What the heck, right ?? ... she was sort of magnetic, and was dressed somewhat sexy, and I figured it would be a great pic ..

 

She was someone famous as she had a table there ...

 

She motions to her friend who was sitting at a table to bring the Polaroid over ... So we line up, and, just before the pic was snapped, she pulls her dress off over her head, and is completely topless !!!!

 

Both my sis and I rolled with it - and the flash went off ..

 

It turns out that she was was Nici Sterling, ( former ? ) porn star

 

You can see that my sis was like "hoooooly sheeeeeet" lol

 

( I blocked the pic for obvious reasons )

Here's me and my daughter right after last night's Dream Theater show. I said it in the DT thread but honestly guys, The Astonishing was so much better live. With the lights and the background visuals it totally makes it a whole new experience. That show alone probably catapulted the album into my top 5.

 

AND JAMES SOUNDED GREAT!

AND MANGINI'S SNARE SOUNDS AWESOME IN REAL LIFE!

 

They were super cell phone nazis though, so all I could manage while inside the building was a shot of Mangini's kit during intermission:
