Don't know what kind of job you're going for so it kind of depends. But personally, and assuming it's an office or professional position, I'd play it safe and go with a suit OR the standard white dress shirt, necktie, & a vest.

It can be a tough question. Maybe I should go with the first picture which seems a little more formal.

IMHO, yes.

But only due to the suit. Hair is fine either way. Same goes for the facial hair.
