The Cat 3
As some of you may know South Carolina has been getting deluged by rain, rain and more rain. Here in Myrtle Beach we have been getting hammered and have some serious flooding. I have lived here 16 years and been through 3 hurricanes and have never seen water where it is now. My wife and I went for a 4 mile walk this afternoon in the rain around and bit outside the neighborhood and took a boatload of pics. Here are some of them and sorry if there are to many. Also I want to seriously apologize to all the heterosexual ladies and gay males here for the last one... :)http://s14.postimg.org/k77jm3kxt/20151004_133450.jpgMy wife and I standing in the middle of the main street entering our section of the neighborhood. The water is deep...http://s16.postimg.org/yb2utxa51/20151004_140850.jpgMe standing in front of the horse farm just outside the bounds of our neighborhood. There is not supposed to be any water under me or around me http://s16.postimg.org/i467opytx/20151004_141549.jpgThe main road just outside our neighborhood. I have never seen water even close to being over it before in 16 years. This is a river running over it. The cars can make it through but barely...http://s1.postimg.org/kejkry7hr/20151004_142755.jpgThe main entrance to our neighborhood. Not supposed to be a pond there... http://s18.postimg.org/57bse3nxl/20151004_144900.jpgAgain apologies to all involved. Just try your best to unsee. In the middle of the main street entering our section of the neighborhood. We were almost back home and I was soaked anyway and couldn't resist... :D damn, I miss Narps !!Yep.Same here

Segue Myles
I discovered today just how close my resemblance is too my grandmother and grandfather! http://s29.postimg.org/ifk3dr3ly/IMG_20151113_232909.jpg
Segue Myles
Having spent the last two weeks exhausted, I am delighted how at peace I both looked and felt today! This was caught off guard, and its just so peaceful, at last I can breathe and relax (but it is a dreadful sadness today shares the events of Paris, my brothers and sisters in that city, my heart and thoughts are with all you beautiful people. I am hurting and praying for you all). http://s16.postimg.org/rch9qp65x/IMG_20151113_234903.jpg

I'm so glad all the parts of your family were able to get together in her memory. I'm glad it brought peace to you; and you never know when your presence is a gift for someone else as well. I have a few distant cousins I only saw 2 or 3 times while growing up and yet those meetings mean a great deal to me now.

The Analog Grownup
When I think about skiing I picture myself flying through the air like a starfish, with every bone in my body broken I had a close call once and I'm not playing chicken with fate again ;). But sure looks fun.
