I agree (well except maybe for the Trees). biggrin.gif I have seen it live several times now but I could live with its omission if we get plenty of songs we haven't seen a million times before.

In the Mood

anything from T4E except Totem

anything from CP except Double Agent

Closer to the Heart (hope it stays retired)

anything from S&A (good luck I know)

Good point. I'd prefer they skip Feedback entirely, unless it's maybe The Seeker. No Summertime Blues, though - that song sucks no matter who sings it.

Agreed. And even though I really didn't care for Feedback, I thought they did a good cover of Heart Full of Soul.

 

Other than the covers, I would really...and I mean REALLY...love seeing a concert where they DIDN'T do Tom Sawyer. That is their MOST overrated song, in my opinion.

I've always been iffy on TCE too, just above YYZ as my least favorite on that album (speaking of overrated, YYZ might be their most!), but lately I've been playing it a lot and have actually grown to like it quite a bit. Has a certain vibe to it that I never locked into before...I'm pretty excited to see it now!

I'm more excited to hear Jacob's Ladder, but Vital Signs will be a treat. I haven't heard that sine the GUP tour.

 

I'm also starting to get an itch for the new material.

Why do people rag on VT so much...it's not that bad of an album. Presto, T4E, and Counterparts are much worse IMO.

Nah. While T4E is a total shit fest, the other two aren't bad. I don't know, I just can't stand VT. And no, it's not the production issues, it's the songs. They're just shit.

Big fan of VS as well. Hoping to see Neil twirling the sticks during the intro, a la the GUP vid.

True Rush fans wouldn't make any derogatory comments about any of their albums...Excuse me, CDs. I agree some aren't as good as others, but I like each and every one of them in their own way. In other words, some more than others.
